Types of Woods

Brown Pressure Treated

Brown pressured treated wood is the most commonly used material for fences. It is the most economical option, looks great and is durable to last throughout the seasons.

Treated wood is pressure injected with preservatives that prevent rot and decay for decades.

Cedar

Cedar is a great looking natural wood product. It is a notch up from brown pressure treated wood products and possesses natural properties which are resistant to rot and decay.

Painted or Stained

If you are going for a unique design, painting or staining your fence with the right products is a great options. It is relatively inexpensive, and protects against rot and decay from our ever changing weather.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need a permit for my fence?


In most cases, it is rare to require a permit for building your fences unless it is going to exceed the maximum height allowance or infringe on city property.




Do you build outside of Calgary?


We serve multiple communites in and around Calgary such as Airdrie, Okotoks, Springbank, Rockyview County, Chetermere, and Irricana. If you live outside on of these areas, just ask us!




How can I find my property line?


If you have a Real Property Report (RPR) for your property, we can use that to find your property line. This document is usually passed from one homeowner to the next. If you did not recieve a RPR when you purchased your home or have misplaced it, you can request a survey to have a new one created for you. It's a good idea to save a digital copy of the RPR for any future uses.
