Types of Woods

Brown Pressure Treated

Brown pressured treated wood is the most commonly used material for fences. It is the most economical option, looks great and is durable to last throughout the seasons.

Treated wood is pressure injected with preservatives that prevent rot and decay for decades.

Cedar

Cedar is a great looking natural wood product. It is a notch up from brown pressure treated wood products and possesses natural properties which are resistant to rot and decay.

Painted or Stained

If you are going for a unique design, painting or staining your fence with the right products is a great options. It is relatively inexpensive, and protects against rot and decay from our ever changing weather.

  • Are permits included?
    Yes! We take care of all necessary building permit applications and inspection bookings so you don't have to!
  • How long does it take to build a garage?
    On average, once construction starts, you can expect your garage to be completed in about 4 weeks although this timeline may be impacted by availability and time of year. We do our best to build your garage as quickly as possible.
  • Can I build my garage in the winter?
    If you have an existing concrete pad, yes! The only thing we can't do in the winter is pour a concrete pad do to the frost. This can cause your garage to shift and breaks apart when the ground thaws in spring.
  • Can I build a Custom Garage?
    Yes! We can design and build a custom garage to suit your needs. Everything from increasing the height, to different shaped footprints. Some of the most popular options include vaulted trusses and installing hoist pads for car lifts.
  • I would like to build as big of a garage as possible on my property. What are some of the restrictions?
    The Land Use Bylaw lays out the requirements and retrictions for size of secondary building and required setbacks. This can differ from one property to another based on approved land usage. Some restriction include setbacks from property lines and the maximum percentage of the property which can be used for buildings. The Land Use Bylaw also has some restrictions around the maximum height of secondary buildings. However, it is possible to reuqest for a relaxations through the municiplaities. This is common when building nanny suites. Our team can help you with the process.
  • What area do you build in?
    We serve multiple communities in and around Calgary such as Airdrie, Okotoks, Springbank, Rockyview County, Foothills & Chestermere. If you live outside on of these areas, just ask us!
